Future Innovators Summit
“Future Innovators Summit” is a hands-on discussion program that you can actually participate which has been developed by the collaboration between Ars Electronica and Hakuhodo Inc. This has been a so-called “device” at the Ars Electronica Festival since 2014 which functions to create future questions (ie; Creative Questions) shaped by the innovators throughout the world. The innovators all have different backgrounds and experts such as artists, designers, scientists, technologists, entrepreneurs etc.
A “Creative Question” is a question that seeks for diversity in the future and generates questions which prompts new possibilities. FIS is different form “Ideathon” nor “Hackathon” which are solution oriented or finding problem solutions. It aims to create new missions to draw a better future. We localize FIS to Tokyo and hold an event that generates creative questions towards the future of Tokyo. At FIS Tokyo, there will be 4-5 participants having a round-table discussion under one of the topics and a final presentation will be given on the last day. Along with this discussion, the exhibition is held in Tokyo Midtown with FIS participating innovators’ masterpieces and companies’ prototypes of the future.
